Sneak peek

Had a bridal hair & make up trial I am finally happy with. I have a few additions and adjustments to make, ie. flowers in my hair and I'd like slightly darker eye shadow, but apart from that I'm happy with who I've chosen to create my look for the day.

Also, nose ring in or out on the day? I'm thinking I might replace it with a stud.

What do you think?

Bargains and freebies - would you expect anything less?

Hello!

It's a busy time of year, lots of things happening = lots of new purchases! Most of the outfits in the post were free but I still have more to show off in coming posts!

Below is a gorgeous dress I picked up from Valleygirl for $14.95. Score!

Paired with new shoes from work (Betts) which you can pick up now for $29.99 (or less if you buy them in Lime - which is amazing!)
.

Last night, us girls had another clothes swap - these are frequent because we all have serious shopping issues. The items in the pic directly below belonged to me, ended up in a swap a few times and a took them back last night! Hehe!

Cream top with lace detail on the shoulders, floral and polka dot skirt and nude strappy wedges.

Cute wine coloured lace dress with detachable under-dress.

Gorgeous cream and black dress, originally from Review.

T-shirt from Cotton On (pants are not new).

Amazingly warm and cosy grey batwing cardi.

Black lace dress that is incredibly short (the only thing I didn't try on) which is still fine to wear over any black/coloured dress (body con, or other).

Overall, very happy with my bargains and freebies! Stay tuned for pics of the "sex" top that got me in trouble at work!

Doc Martens for sale!

Hi lovelies,

I'm selling a pair of ladies size 8 Doc Martens. Black, near new condition, just a few scuff marks from the handful of times I've worn them. Need to clear some room in the wardrobe for new Winter shoes (creepers, boots, etc.)

Check out my eBay listing and tell your friends!

Back in black

Here's a couple of shots from last week - I wanted to upload more with different outfits but didn't have a great set of pics to post ( these are the best of a bad bunch! I need a photographer roomie!)

The black ensemble was a work outfit featuring Cotton On top and shoes and Forever New skirt. I'll never fall out of love with black, no matter how hot it gets!

I've been rocking a lot of tube tops lately, and while I feel a bit like I'm 13 again, I find them to be very versatile. This one is from Supre and is worn with my $5 silk pants from Nadia's House of Serendipity - note the cute gold elephant button! I'm also wearing rose gold heels from Spendless - such a great buy and very comfy.

The pants need some serious altering (I have them safety-pinned at the back, haha.) so they join my massive pile of garments that can't be worn properly until I get a sewing machine. Sigh.

LittleBlackTeapot

LittleBlackTeapot is an Australian e-shop selling vintage, second-hand, handmade and remade threads. Their clothing is sourced from all over Oz and they have bases in Adelaide and Melbourne.

I was invited to team up with LBT to spread the word about their rad range of clothing, all of which you can buy from their Facebook page.

With op-shop chic being my signature look, I felt very at home wearing the acid wash dress and sunglasses-print jacket and teaming them with basic and on-trend pieces.

If you're new to wearing vintage clothing, start by experimenting with what you have in your wardrobe and wear what you think looks great!

LBT have heaps of fantastic unique pieces (the best part about vintage is that no one will be wearing the same thing as you!) as well as accessories and handmade floral headbands. Cute!

Thanks, LBT!
