LittleBlackTeapot

LittleBlackTeapot is an Australian e-shop selling vintage, second-hand, handmade and remade threads. Their clothing is sourced from all over Oz and they have bases in Adelaide and Melbourne.

I was invited to team up with LBT to spread the word about their rad range of clothing, all of which you can buy from their Facebook page.

With op-shop chic being my signature look, I felt very at home wearing the acid wash dress and sunglasses-print jacket and teaming them with basic and on-trend pieces.

If you're new to wearing vintage clothing, start by experimenting with what you have in your wardrobe and wear what you think looks great!

LBT have heaps of fantastic unique pieces (the best part about vintage is that no one will be wearing the same thing as you!) as well as accessories and handmade floral headbands. Cute!

Thanks, LBT!

The Eclective

Today my mum and I went to a unique bridal fair in Adelaide showcasing local venues, caterers and services without the stressed out, stuffy vibe of a typical bridal fair. The Eclective is "a curated showcase of wedding artisans intent on inspiring and enlightening couples to explore the options of personal expression within their wedding". The team behind The Eclective; Alia, Scott and Kristy, have created a truly inspiring and relaxed atmosphere demonstarting the best local photographers, designers and small business owners in a fun, open space. It was exactly what I was looking for, as a bride with no plans, no date and a head that needs to be filled with ideas. We sampled delicious macaroons, almond and tea brittle, salty caramel powder, the best beer in the state (McLaren Vale Beer Company) while I eyed off a few vintage dresses that just happened to be my size. I still feel apprehensive about commencing the massive task of organising (and paying) for our wedding, but now I know there are so many locals with the right tools for the job so I can create the kind of day that will be relaxed, enjoyable and reflect our personalities.

Inside the old Queens Theatre, a great venue for the event with rustic charm.

Such a beautiful old building to suit the quirkyness and idividuality of the artisans showcasing their services.

Inspiration and such

Would love to look like this all Summer.

Just like Lenni Vintage.

So much DIY potential...

And again, perfect for DIY.

I will always love retro styling. Perfect.

Two things are amazing here: 1. Her outfit. 2. She's been shopping at Primark.

Love the splash of neon with a feminine/grunge look.

Love this look.

I wish more men would put effort into their outfits, like this.
