Blog love / Body love

I've recently started following two blogs, Fat Aus and Curve Appeal. I was so happy to stumble across the both of them and see something other than stick-thin bodies. I still don't understand why magazines (where most of the fashion images I see originate) can't use a variety of body types. Yeah, sometimes Cosmo do a "real bodies" special and have models of all sizes but I don't see why that can't be a monthly occurrence. I'd like to see girls who look like me - tiny waist, tiny boobs and a ghetto booty, and girls who are either side of the "model thin" and "plus size" categories. Everybody deserves the right to feel beautiful and show off their style, so I'm very glad   to be a part of an online community where everyone can participate if they want to.

Bambi x Tony Bianco

And my love for shoes continues...
Tony Bianco's Summer 2012 campaign featuring Aussie model, Bambi Norwood-Blyth, is a knockout. I love the simplicty of this shoot; the understated backdrop and outfits allow the striking colours and shapes of Bianco's latest collection to capture your attention. And if someone with legs like Bambi can't sell shoes, I don't know who can.

Bambi is also the current guest blogger at Tony Bianco.com.au and shares her adventures in modelling, shopping, travel and personal photos. It's a fun and intersting read and you can check it out here.

Hello

I've been toying with the idea of starting a style blog for some time. At first I was planning to create a strict Adelaide street style type photo-blog, as Adelaide has become very fashionable over the last few years. Then I thought I would post pics of my op-shop finds - of which there are many - and outfits created from op-shop finds/items I already own. In addition to this I wanted to incorporate pictures of current favourite trends, so fingers crossed this will become an easy blend of all things fashion, style and trend.
