Back in style

Today I caught up with family, drank coffee, ate chocolate and lounged around on my last day of the Easter long weekend. Pete and I went away to Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges for two nights which was incredible, such a stunning place to visit. After three days without make-up and washing my hair, I feel a bit disappointed about how much I enjoyed getting ready this morning - one shouldn't need to wear make-up to feel beautiful, but sadly I do.

Anyway, this is me trying the fur (faux, of course) vest look, which I love to wear because it is so warm. I think it looks ok, what about you? This vest is Miss Shop, courtesy of my sister, whose wardrobe I stole it from. The top is from Bardot and has an open, diamond patterned back, which I scored from a clothes swap, the jeans I have had since I was 15 and are from Deborah K (anyone else remember that shop?) and the shoes are from Primark in London.

'Scuse the bra, not the best look, but you get the gist.

Miss Shop Blogger Project

I love these fun images from the Miss Shop Blogger Project collaboration with Pedestrian.tv and 15 bloggers, including Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Vintage, Mandy Shadforth of Oracle Fox and Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast. The girls are wearing key AW12 looks from Miss Shop's current range - Prim & Perverse, Sixties Pop and Luxe Grunge.
