Ear cuffs and mood board

For ages I was hunting down this ear wrap until I figured out it doesn't go through the ear, but slips on either side (like a regular earring). My ears are stretched to 10mm so I got excited to have something that would go through my ear. Oh well. Looking around, I found some great stuff at Marty Magic which would go well with any of the 90s gunge and 70s hippie/new age looks going around at the moment.

While we're on the subject, I thought I'd post a mood board of all the looks I'm currently wearing. I can't get enough of all things 90s and 70s at the moment and so find myself wearing these looks on alternate days or mixing them (which works surprisingly well!)

Style.com

Like any good fashion blogger I joined Style.com and created my first lookbook. It is in no way exhaustive and taken entriely from the Fall 2011 runway looks. Mostly it is a compliation of styles I like to wear and inspiration for the coming season. A lot of the looks can also translate to Spring/Summer, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

Will be purchasing a tripod soon so I can begin documenting my looks and purchases. I will also be aiming to give more in-depth analysis of trends. In other news, I scored a job at Betts shoe store, ending the early mornings and grumpy customers I had to endure at Hudsons. Also stoked I get to sell shoes and have staff discount.

Back again

So, I recently moved in with Pete (4.5 years and an engagement ring later...) and as a result have been sans Internet for a long long time. I have a few plans in the works but would like to keep updating this blog because blogging makes me happy. (And proves to potential employers I am motivated and update regularly) :D

Just a brief update before I get back into gear. I found this picture a while ago and posted it on my Tumblr. I think it is the perfect Autumn outfit (though our Autumn currently feels like god-awful Winter). Knitted bustier with neutral suit and shoes = perfection.
