By the age of 13, 53 percent of girls say they are unhappy with their bodies. When were they happy? In order to find out, Marie C. photographed and interviewed girls between the ages of four and eight and asked them what they liked about their bodies. These girls share wisdom the rest of us have forgotten.

New things. I'm a material girl.

I've acquired new things, not surprisingly for someone who shops multiple times a week. I have issues. I was rewarded for my efforts at work with a few $100 vouchers, some of which I spent on one of the new holographic bags which have arrived at Betts. I could not buy the bag fast enough, I love shiny things and couldn't wait to own something holographic. You can buy it too, it's currently 30% off!
