Barossa and back again

What a lovely way to start the week! On Sunday, Peter and I drove to Tanunda in the Barossa Valley to celebrate our five year anniversary. We had an amazing time enjoying the sun, quaffing the best local wines, eating delicious local produce and playing mini golf on the coolest course ever. If you've never been to the Barossa (this was our first ever visit) be sure to head to Tanunda, it's the best place to get a taste of what the valley has to offer.

Checking out the old Jacob's Creek homestead.

Stunning views and a nice reference point for tourists.

Quaffing many many wines at Jacob's Creek centre.

Overlooking Tanunda and surrounds. Also featuring the cute cardie I bought for $4.

Pete getting up close and personal with the granite sculptures.

Our cute studio accommodation - The Dove Cote.

Delicious breakfast, all the ingredients (except the cheese) were provided by our B&B hosts. How good is that?!

The coolest mini golf course ever - in Tanunda.

Sharing a killer python.

  2. It was so much fun and so relaxing. Five years is a long time, as Pete pointed out, it's nearly one fifth of my life so far! Hopefully we'll still be sharing killer pythons when we're octogenarians. :)
